The Rock Vacation Rental
Established in 2007 and totally renovated in the summer of 2016 The Rock Vacation Rental invites you to change up your typical family vacation and come enjoy our rural setting. We have a 1,750 square foot house located on 50 acres overlooking the Ohio River.
As you enter the property you will see our Pineapple Quilt Square that is surrounded by tons of limestone rock.
Our rustic-looking single story house has wood siding that was cut at a nearby sawmill from locally harvested trees. Several rooms have beams and wall boards that were reclaimed from a local barn. The house has a fully-equipped kitchen, laundry, 3 private bedrooms, and 2 full bathrooms. Rooms throughout the house are warmly decorated and well maintained.
Enjoy the river view, barbecue a meal, build a campfire or just relax. You’re welcome to hike the fields and woods at The Rock or neighboring Whipple State Nature Preserve for the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife. For boating or fishing the Ohio River and Brush Creek are both nearby. If hunting is more your liking book a deer archery hunt with us in the fall.
