Elk Hunts

We encourage hunters to apply for the branch antlered elk tags offered in the Wenaha and Tucannon units.  Elk hunting for the general season is spike only.  The permits vary from year to year so check the game regulations for current offerings.  We hunt in GMUs 169 and 166.  Special Hunt Permits are offered for modern rifle, archery, and muzzleloader weapons. The game regulations can be checked online at http://wdfw.wa.gov/huntcorn.htm , or by calling 1-877-945-3492.   Other questions about the area or tags we will be happy to answer for you.

Mule Deer Hunts

 We specialize in finding big mountain mule deer bucks!  All meat packing is included.  Gentle surefooted riding horses transport you to camp. 

 Bear Hunts

Spring bear tags by special permit have become available in recent years.  The applications are due the first part of March.   The season runs April 15 to May 31.  Fall bear season opens around September 1st.  Here is a great opportunity for a nice bear.  The Blue Mountain bears run about 50% color phase.

Hunting Drop Camp: 

Your camp gear--including personal items and food–is packed in for you to one of our campsites.  You’ll ride a horse or walk, if you prefer.  Our packer will check on you every 2 days for meat packing or other needs.  The length of your trip is up to you, 4-9 days.  We have wall tents,  heating and cooking stoves available to rent:  14x16 wall tent $100/camp; stoves $50/camp.  Drop camp $900/person. 

Supplied Drop Camp:

 We’ll pack your food and personal gear to a camp we’ve already set up for you.  Our supplied camps include a wall tent with rain fly,  heating stove and cooking stove, a lantern, axe, saw, shovel and all the cookware.  Some firewood will be cut.  Again, we will check on you every 2 days and the length of trip is your choice, 4-9 days.  Supplied camp $1200/person.

Guided Hunts:

With this deluxe trip, we will supply everything except your personal gear, weapon, license, tag and sleeping bag.  You’ll start and end each day with a hot and hearty meal.  Lunch will be sent with you each morning.  Our guides work hard before the season locating animals.  We specialize in finding big mountain mule deer bucks!  Guided hunts are 8 days--1 day in, 6 days hunting, 1 day out.  Guided  hunt 2 hunters per guide $2500/ person.

3% USFS Use Tax and 7.5% Washington Sales Tax will be added to base price.
