Wyoming Wilderness Outfitters is a family owned and operated business since 1978. We offer a comfortable tent camp and relaxed atmosphere along with delicious country style meals and the opportunity to appreciate the wildlife and natural backcountry splendors of the area. Wyoming is home to such big game species as whitetail deer, mule deer, black bear, elk, moose and pronghorn antelope. Hunters can prearranged guided trips with Wyoming Wilderness Outfitters in pursuit of a potential trophy animal.

Yellowstone has the largest concentration of free-roaming wildlife in the lower 48 states. Wildlife viewing is best in the early morning or early to late evening. 96% of Yellowstone's Park is in the state of Wyoming.

Yellowstone National Park's occupies 3,472 square miles (2,219,789 acres) of continental US, and is our first National Park established by President Roosevelt in 1872. The highest point is 11,358 feet / 3,462 meters - at Eagle Peak. Its lowest is Reese Creek at 5,282 feet / 1,610 meters.

It is a part of the International Biosphere Reserve and is a United Nations World Heritage Site. The park contains the Yellowstone Caldera, which is the biggest volcanic system in the United States and Canada. The Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem is the second largest undeveloped wilderness in the United States, behind only Alaska, and the largest ecosystem in the northern temperate zone. It contains a reported 1,700 species of flora, 60 species of mammals, six species of reptiles, four species of amphibians and over 300 species of birds.
