Be it a rain-soaked morning or a sunny afternoon there is no better place for hard-driving dogs with bells or hunters with double guns than the fifteen-plus miles of woodland trails on the Rasawek. Trails that thread their way through hundreds of acres of managed pine plantation, hardwood draws, creek bottoms and hill-top meadows.
Managed, not manicured, the Rasawek is named after a historic local Indian village. As evidenced by the many arrow heads, including bird hunting tips, discovered on the property, mankind has been bird hunting along our miles of tree-shaded streams for centuries. And we are taking care of it so they will be hunting here long after we are gone.
Located in western Goochland county, Virginia the Rasawek is a very, very rare find. Come and spend some time here and leave with a newness in your soul.
