Mkuze Ranch employs ethical hunting as a means of keeping the game numbers in check and preventing over grazing of the veld. Our vigilant veld management ensures that our game remains in good condition even through drought periods.
The walk and stalk technique is encouraged when hunting - shooting from vehicles is not permitted. All parties are allocated a skilled tracker for the duration of their hunt. These trackers understand the lie of the land and will expertly guide you in the direction of which ever particular species you are after.
Our trackers are able to do the skinning for you, as well as cut the capes if required. We request that our hunters always advise the trackers up front should you wish the skins to be salted. Please do make a note to advise the guides if you would like the skins to be salted.
